Italian traditional potato gnocchi and traditional sauce from scratch.
Potato gnocchi (potatoes, eggs, flour, salt and a secret ingredient) is a true classic of the Italian cuisine. For this recipe it is extremely important to choose the right quality of gnocchi for the best result.
We will pair gnocchi with ONE of the following traditional sauces prepared from scratch and chosen by the Chef:
- Tomato and basil sauce (fresh or canned tomato, basil, garlic, extra virgin olive oil, chili pepper salt)
- Pesto sauce (fresh basil leaves, pecorino cheese, parmesan cheese, pine nuts, extra virgin olive oil, coarse salt)
- Butter, parmesan and fresh sage
PLEASE NOTE: You will be kindly asked to boil and finish cooking potatoes before the cooking class starts. According to the Chef’s choice, you will need an immersion blender or a mixer for the pesto sauce.
